I execute understand that this movie is 30 years old, but many people produce better youtube videos than this crap
Sandler is just not a funny 'comedian' and so combine his lack of talent with poor cinematography and you have a highschool level skits, not a movie.

Adam Sandler becomes a tiro affirmative-golfer to try to win some money to save his grandmother. He's cast in a familiar role as the outsider and naturally plays information technology up for the laughs. One of the best parts is when he's paired with giveaway Host Bob Barker and ends up acquiring into a fight. Past noteworthy performances are past Carl Weathers Eastern Samoa his coach and Richard Kiel of Jaws fame from the Bond movies every bit a Gilmore winnow who shows aweigh at his tournaments. I put Happy Gilmore in the middle of Sandler's movies. It's good but there are some better ones.

What I loved all but this movie was the ACTING. It kit and boodle because Adam Sandler is brllliantly "real" at altogether times, even though atomic number 2 plays a silly character in silly situations. His commitment to the role is breathtaking. Somehow you really consider this character would clout out his caddy, go beserk on national television, wealthy person a hot argument with a golfball, and jeopardize a plastic clown face with death! Yet at the aforesaid time, the character has an whiteness and guilelessness that allows us to forgive him his excentricities. He's fitting an Everyman World Health Organization is out of his element, trying to find his style. If he causes tumult and pandemonium in the area around him, IT is forgivable because he is single doing what he has been trained to exercise, for every of his previous life. "Happy" remains a appealing character even up while he is punching out Bob Barker! That is the genius of this movie.
Hoi polloi might tell you the plat of this movie, and completely the ill skits that are in that movie, but you still mightiness not get it. I Don't think I would deliver "gotten it" just by audition a telling of the diagram. The script is mirthful, and it's a good vehicle, but the reason I have watched this movie over and again is because Adam Sandler is Much a sainted actor. He makes you BELIEVE. Comedians never get enough credit for this, but in a picture show like this one, which is really a pretty gonzo situation, it is his ability to consider us into a mode of suspended reality that makes the picture show work: he makes the incredible plausible. Bravo!

I usually get a bit impatient with topnotch featherbrained movies but Cristal Sandler kills it in this movie. His characters are flawed and dynamic and there's sol a great deal irony here. I really enjoyed watching this for date night. Rent it!
